Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11 Mens Running shoe
Nope, you’re not having déjà vu. But when the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 10 won Runner’s World’s “Best Update” award in Winter 2009, they didn’t rest on their laurels. Brooks kept what we loved about their most popular shoe – but enhanced all of the details.
Adding our patent-pending Brooks® DNA technology in the heel and in the forefoot adapts to your every stride, providing cushioning and responsiveness that’s tuned for you. They evolved their signature caterpillar crash pad for an optimized laydown and transition. They also added an adjustable stretch lacing system for a customized fit.
It clearly paid off – in the December 2010 issue of Runner’s World, on newsstands November 9, the Adrenaline™ GTS 11 nabs the “Best Update” award in the Winter 2010 Shoe Guide.
In the December issue, Runner’s World states, “Brooks made a lot of improvements to this lightweight stability shoe, adding a heel cradle to securely hold the back of the foot in place and more gel underfoot to soften impact.” Runner’s World’s wear-testers noted, “The shoe had a good heel fit, a soft ride, and exceptional arch support,” and, “It really rolled through footstrike comfortably.” Runner’s World also called out the shoe’s use of adjustable straps in the eye-row, saying they allowed a secure, foot-hugging squeeze.
Whats the people at Brooks say….
“With each new edition of the Adrenaline GTS, we set out to improve and innovate upon the previous one, while still maintaining the shoe’s signature fit, feel, and ride,” said Jim Weber, president and CEO of Brooks. “Winning ‘Best Update’ for both the tenth and eleventh editions proves we’re continuing to provide runners what they want and need in a great, performance running shoe.”
